Tucked between the Grant Park and Irvington neighborhoods in Northeast Portland is a majestic mansion full stunning pieces and is literally a "there's something for everyone" treasure trove. The Grant Park Château is an enormous manor of a prominent Portland leader that features exquisite furniture and fine art. This estate sale is massive, with so many great things it's almost impossible to list them all. A home this big needs LOTS of furniture to fill all 15+ rooms, from vintage sofas and chairs to luxurious dining tables and cabinetry. Oriental rugs running the many hallways. An adorable kids room full of nostalgic toys, games, and books, including vintage dollhouses. A dream kitchen for connoisseurs of fine dining and entertaining, full of cooking ware, plates, bowls, flatware, utensils, serving platters, small appliances, Tiffany and Baccarat glassware, and a giant collection of cookbooks. In fact, there's tons of books spanning this manor! Not to mention all the electronics from big flatscreen TVs and home stereo systems, and even an Alienware computer. Lots of CDs and DVDs. Exercise equipment, including stationary bike and treadmill. All kinds of vintage clothing from high-end brands and designers like Gucci and Neiman Marcus. A collection of framed Hermès Paris scarves. And of course a mansion of so much culture would be without gorgeous fine art by Caroline Dewey, Charles Heney, Satsuko & Earl Hamilton, plus other paintings, prints, and sculptures. Plenty of home decor from modern trends to Asian/cultural inspirations. And what mansion wouldn't be complete without a TIGER! (not a real actual tiger)
